A volunteer searching the archives of the American Baptist in Massachusetts has found a nearly 180-year-old document shedding light on the church's support for ending slavery.

If we follow this church constitution and the fear of God in all that we do, definitely this church would have been one of the best, if not the best. But unfortunately, the reverse is the case.
