Mumbai: Malwani police on Tuesday arrested two men and seized 710 bottles of unprescribed codeine-laced cough syrup worth nearly Rs 3.6 lakh from Mala.

Mumbai police arrested two men, Rizwan Ansari and Naved Batatawala, in Malwani for possessing 710 bottles of cough syrup mixed with codeine phosphate, an opioid pain reliever.
