It's getting easier to earn an online bachelor's degree as both online schools and traditional universities have expanded their online bachelor's degree programs.

Some state universities — including Ball State — elected to cut or "consolidate" degree programs before a related state law went into effect on July 1.

Six Indiana public colleges have submitted a fifth of the state's degree programs for cutting or merging ahead of a new law instituting size quotas.
