The line at the 49th parallel marking the U.S. border looks like it was drawn with a ruler from the Pacific Ocean to just after Winnipeg, Manitoba, near the east-west center of the country.

It’s ripped across, like almost right on the 49th parallel, right there at the U.S.-Canada border. And that’s where those fronts are coming from.
