With yellow warnings for rain and thunderstorms in place on Monday, Chris Fawkes looks at how long the wet weather will last.
The National Weather Service released a flood advisory at 8:40 a.m. on Monday in effect until 11:30 a.m. The advisory is for Johnson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Cass counties.
The NWS Newport/Morehead City NC released a flood advisory at 3:01 p.m. on Monday in effect until 6 p.m. for Carteret and Craven counties.
