Madison Central baseball announced the hire of Petal's Jake Mills as the Jaguars next coach, replacing Patrick Robey.

The Lake Mills festival known as July Jubilee will take place this year Friday through Sunday and offer a weekend full of family-friendly activities.

Michael Dean Mills, age 77, of Derby, Vermont, passed away at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on June 27, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He joined the team, along with veteran guard Patty Mills, last February in a deal with Utah that sent Mo Bamba, P.J. Tucker, a 2030 second-round draft pick and cash considerations to the Jazz.
