Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde will retire from the NFL after 11 seasons, he announced Tuesday on Instagram. "So much love and way too many thanks," Hyde wrote on the social media platform. "From Fostoria [Ohio] to Iowa City to Green Bay to Buffalo, the goal was to leave an impact.

The Buffalo Bills came up short in the postseason once again this year, suffering a 32-29 defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. And in the wake of this tough result, veteran safety Micah Hyde made a big decision on his future in the NFL after he latched on with the team towards the end of the 2024 campaign.
