Quincy Tyler Bernstine has been cast in a series regular role in Liz Meriwether's upcoming Hulu series, Variety has learned exclusively.
The biggest new title of the week is undoubtedly James Gunn's "Superman," which hits theaters nationwide Friday. That does not mean, though, that there aren't some exciting and noteworthy streaming movies and TV series premiering this week.
James Hawes' action-thriller "The Amateur," starring Rami Malek, arrives on Hulu July 17, the streamer announced Wednesday.
Distant was eventually retitled Long Distance and given a small release in Vietnam in 2024. Then it hit Hulu last week in the blur of the July 4 holiday weekend. I received exactly zero emails from any studio to explain that this was happening. Considering that Rotten Tomatoes still has a page for Distant, it’s possible no one got the memo.
