On July 21, at the New York City premiere of "Happy Gilmore 2," the 27-year-old comedian stepped out with girlfriend Ana Amelia Cabral, marking their first public appearance as a couple. The movie premiere features Adam Sandler, a legacy sequel decades in the making, and none other than Bad Bunny, who happens to be one of Hernández's close friends.
After much anticipation and a 29-year wait, Adam Sandler returned as the hot-tempered, big-hitting golf legend in “Happy Gilmore 2,” released on Netflix on Friday. As expected, the film was chock-full of cameos, many of them by real-life golfers and several of them with strong ties to the D-FW area.
A lifelong friend of the famous comedian, Kyle McDonough starred on the ice at Vermont and served as motivation for the fictional golfer.
Meanwhile, Sandler and Bowen reacted to Bowen’s shocking “Happy Gilmore 2” death during an interview with Entertainment Weekly published shortly after the movie’s release. The “Modern Family” star suggested that her character needed to die to drive Happy and the events of the film.
