An off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent was shot and wounded just before midnight on Sunday in a New York City park.

An off-duty Customs and Border Patrol agent was shot in New York City's Riverside Park late Saturday night in an alleged robbery that did not appear to target him because of his job, police said

It happened during the overnight hours in Riverside Park. One suspect has been arrested and, as CBS News New York's Kristie Keleshian reports, local and federal officials say the man has a lengthy criminal record.
