Wellington was founded in 1982 by a group of local entrepreneurs as Columbus’ first coeducational independent school. It educates over 700 students ranging from three-year-olds to 12th graders.
The school district is stepping up to make a difference, using grant money to help them. Wellington third grade teacher Cecily Day said rising costs are changing how her family is spending money.
