Jamaica's 100 metres world record holder and Olympic champion Usain Bolt was involved in a car accident near his home on Sunday but escaped without injury, his publicist said.

Usain Bolt currently holds the world records in the 100 meter with a time of 9.58 seconds, the 200 meter with a time of 19.19 seconds, and the 4x100 meter with a time of 36.84 seconds.
