U.S. military and NATO officials are discussing a possible plan that could be unveiled in the coming days to provide Ukraine with much-needed aerial defense weapons.

President Donald Trump and members of his administration say the U.S. will look to sell weapons to Ukraine via NATO and European allies, as he promises a "major statement" on Russia on Monday.

If the plan is finalized, it would allow critical aid to flow to Ukraine as it endures one of Russia’s heaviest assaults of the war.
