You’ve arrived in the main town, or chora, of Naxos, Greece. A four-hour ferry ride southeast of Athens, the island of Naxos is a calming escape from bustling neighbors Mykonos and Santorini.

Sailing around Naxos at the bow of the Penelope is not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades, a group of about 30 islands in the Aegean Sea.
