The Eaton Fire’s cause is still under investigation, but Southern California Edison is launching a way to compensate victims.

Edison will bury more than 150 miles of power lines in Altadena and Malibu in the wake of January's deadly and devastating Eaton and Palisades fires in Southern California.

Last year, more than 137,000 SoCal Edison customers had their power shut off to help mitigate fire risk from utility lines.
