Thursday morning, the Seattle Auditor’s Office released the results of an audit that sought to track gun violence patterns and offer recommendations going forward.

That would be a more fair way to look at the data. Part of the reason anti-gun activists don’t trot out that data is because if you look at unintentional gun injuries, the numbers are very low.
The meeting was prompted by a recent audit urging the City of Seattle to improve its gun violence reporting and adopt an "all-hands-on-deck" approach to combat the issue.
