The sewage threatened the waterways, forcing the city to close Granite Creek Park. After a week of cleanup, city leaders are hopeful the park can reopen at noon on Tuesday.

The water tends to gather at the center of Prescott Park, which is the lowest point there, along with the center of Strawbery Banke, which is located across Marcy Street.
