Five-time champions Mumbai Indians on Sunday announced the signing of Afghanistan off-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman as a replacement for Allah Ghazanfar who has been ruled out of the IPL 2025 due to an injury.

Afghanistan Mujeeb Ur Rahman will replace injured compatriot Allah Ghazanfar at Mumbai Indians for the 2025 Indian Premier League. Off-spinner Ghazanfar, 18, was set to play in the IPL for the first time but has been ruled out by a back injury that has also seen him replaced in Afghanistan's Champions Trophy squad.
