Morton Salt’s longtime warehouse along the Chicago River is moving closer to a $30 million redevelopment that would bring office, entertainment, bar and restaurant space to the North Side site.
The Morton Salt warehouse, which first opened in the 1920s, served as one of the company’s packaging and warehousing locations until the company shuttered those operations in 2015.
