A 12-year-old female miniature horse ‘Butter’ was rescued from a hazardous 60-foot-deep well last week after crashing through a faulty plywood covering, according to officials and dramatic video.

JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — As many as 60 dogs, most of them miniature Shelties or Sheltie mixes, will be available starting Monday, authorities said.

Someone took the dog to the Franklin County Dog Shelter on April 17. Four days later, the shelter released the dog to the sheltie rescue group.

In 2003, Greiner began fostering other Shelties from the rescue in an effort to find Sashi a sibling. "We realized pretty quickly we couldn't have another female dog," she said.
