Watching so-called "science channels" would certainly leave you wondering.

Despite a less-than-stellar script, Playhouse Stage coaxes out some Disney magic in “The Little Mermaid,” running through Aug. 17 at Cohoes Music Hall.

Mermaids? You've got to be kidding. But TV, which is the only "science education" some people get, is willing to deceive you with docu-fiction so they can sell you more beef jerky.
