It seems to have paid off — McLaren says the 750S will sprint from zero to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and reach 124 mph in 7.2 (or 7.3 if you go for the 750S Spider with its power-retractable hardtop).

McLaren is taking orders for the 750S now. The coupe starts at $331,740, which includes the $5,500 destination charge and $2,240 Americas Accessory Pack, included on all U.S. 750S models.

McLaren says the 750S coupe does 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and 0-124 mph in 7.2 seconds. The 750S Spider, which is 108 pounds heavier, is behind by just a 10th in both metrics.

A 740-hp twin-turbo V-8 plays the chorus behind the 2024 McLaren 750S supercar, which carries the torch from the recently discontinued 720S.

McLaren claims the combination is enough to get the 750S to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 206 mph — quicker than the 720S’ 2.8-second 0-60 but less than its 212 mph top speed.
