Minnesota Public Safety Leaders announced Tuesday that they plan to begin working with a third-party firm to assess the current state of Capitol Security.

Minnesota State Patrol is bringing in an expert to assess security at the Minnesota State Capitol in the wake of the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses in June.
