A debate over changing Fort Bend County's precinct maps continues to create contentious courtroom meetings.

On June 3, the Commissioners Court voted to immediately implement a new commissioners precinct map, which will likely flip Democrat Alisa Simmons’ southeast Tarrant County seat to Republicans.

TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — Tarrant County Commissioners approved a new electoral map, which will reshape the county’s governing body in favor of Republicans.
