MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) — The Madison Police Department said it arrested a man on several child sexual abuse charges. MPD said on July 2, officers arrested 21-year-old Aiden Rackow, of Scottsboro.

He was arrested in an investigation into claims that he picked up a juvenile from a different county and transported them to Madison for unlawful sexual contact.

A new 911 service fee will be added to Madison County property tax bills this fall, aimed at supporting the emergency dispatch service as federal funding through the CSEPP program expires.
