A group of women who survived a lightning strike have honored their shared experience with matching tattoos.

The four women were on a girl's trip from Kentucky, at the JW Marriott Resort on Marco Island, Florida when lightning hit the tiki hut.

A lightning strike hit a tiki hut near 400 South Collier Boulevard on Marco Island during a storm on June 21. Marco Island Fire Rescue and the Marco Island Police Department responded to the scene.
