A sharpshooter out of Liberty, Taelon Peter shot 45% from behind the arc last season and led the NCAA in true shooting percentage.

INDIANAPOLIS – Liberty guard Taelon Peter was chosen by the Indiana Pacers with the No. 54 overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft on Thursday night.

The Pacers took Marquette All-American combo guard Kameron Jones with the No. 38 overall pick in the second round pick in the NBA draft.
