A 61-year-old man died after he crashed into a train in Gratiot County, the Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office said.

There were no injuries and no other property damage reported other than the crossing itself.

Eight cars of the Berkshire and Eastern Railroad went off track on Farley Road at about 4 p.m., Tuesday, the rail operator said.
