President Donald Trump’s administration is using federal prisons to detain some people arrested in its immigration crackdown.

Venezuelan migrants sent to Guantanamo Bay are being held in a military prison that has housed al-Qaeda members.

Previously, the Guantanamo Migrant Operations Centre (MOC) held primarily migrants picked up by US authorities at sea.
