PRESCOTT — More than 100 years after his death, Billy the Kid can still stir up a heap of trouble.

According to Airy, Billy the Kid, who had several aliases, survived the 1881 shootout with Garrett and traveled west to Arizona to become a rancher near Zuni Pueblo, using the name John Miller.

Stinnett and Cooper say they want Lee's analysis of DNA from blood on a carpenter's bench where Billy the Kid's body supposedly was placed after being fatally wounded by Garrett in Fort Sumner.
