A Delta Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Wednesday after dozens of people were injured during "significant" turbulence.

The flight, covering the route between Salt Lake City and Amsterdam, had to suspend its service in Minneapolis, two hours after takeoff. Turbulence is essentially an unstable air current that moves in an unpredictable way.
