Fiona the baby hippo has inspired a children's book. Adding to the complexities of Fiona's care is the fact that it has all been done in the public eye.

That means Fiona, Bibi’s daughter, is officially a big sister. Fiona became an international celebrity after being born six weeks prematurely in 2017, weighing in at only 29 pounds at birth.

The wait is over! Bibi has given birth to a second hippo calf, making Fiona a big sister. The Cincinnati Zoo says a healthy full term hippo baby was born around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday.
