Lynn Zocolo, a 20-year educator at the farm, said the annual “baby shower” has been held in the spring since 1992 with a few recent years missed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

MetroParks Farm will have its annual Farm Animal Baby Shower on Saturday. Visitors will get to meet the farm’s newest arrivals, including goats, piglets, calves, chicks and ducklings.

If you would like to see the animals, the farm is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting in June, the barns will stay open until 5 p.m. through October. Tino DiCenso contributed to this report.

“This is Sweetapple Farm’s 20th year and we’ve had this Farm Animal Baby Shower for several years now,” said owner Mona Barrett. “We have a big turnout for this.
