DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — The Iowa Court of Appeals has upheld the verdict against a former Eldora man convicted in June 2008 of killing his estranged wife.

ELDORA -- Before police found Brenda Cuevas' body, a neighbor says he heard a loud thud come from her home and then saw flames spewing from a window.
