HOUMA, La. — The 2024 Carnival season kicked off on January 6, and the Krewe of Cleopatra is set to roll on Monday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m.

A deputy directing traffic for the Krewe of Cleopatra’s Mona’s Kids at Heart trick-or-treat event in courtyard square was struck by a passing vehicle about 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Krewe of Cleopatra-Houma will roll at 6 p.m. Monday and will be followed by Krewe of Kajuns. Krewe of Houmas will roll Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
