Halsey pays homage to Britney Spears in their new “Lucky” music video. They wore a catsuit similar to one Spears wore in the 2003 "Toxic" video.

Britney reportedly was drinking, had a panic attack as well as badly hurt her ankle. The incident seemed to parallel the spiraling behavior that preceded the Toxic singer’s 2007 breakdown.

Fans were loving the Spears references, like one who commented, “Halsey in her Britney era! I’m here for it!! The iconic Toxic Crystal bodysuit!!” on Halsey’s Instagram post Wednesday.
