Tulare Lake has seen an outbreak of Avian botulism at Tulare Lake, in Kings County, this year. UC Davis and the Aquarium of the Pacific are helping out.

Ditto for washing the birdbath every 2 or 3 days. My avian guests include house finches, California towhees, Oregon juncoes, white-crowned sparrows, chickadees and pretty little Townsend’s warblers.
