What to Know Windows: Find Malwarebytes in the Programs and Features area of Control Panel to delete it. Mac: Open the program and click Help > Uninstall Malwarebytes > Uninstall.

Scan the system, and remove the malicious program. Once done, Malwarebytes should be able to launch as usual. Running a boot-time scan with the built-in Windows Defender might be a good idea.
