The Las Vegas Raiders stunned the football world on Friday when they traded a third-round pick to the Seattle Seahawks for quarterback Geno Smith. While not a top-flight player at this point in his career, Smith is more than serviceable and should be the best Raider under center since Rich Gannon.
Pete Carroll moved from Seattle to Las Vegas, and Geno Smith is moving with him, too. The Seahawks have traded the veteran quarterback to the Raiders in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick, according to CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones.
