After announcing her bid to be Michigan's next governor, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson visited West Michigan Wednesday afternoon to kick off her campaign.
The Grand Rapids Public Museum was closed Thursday after a pipe burst and caused some flooding. The flooding was ultimately contained. About three dozen artifacts were damaged and removed. The museum believes most of them will be restored.
