Steve Kerr is a bright person. However, before the Boston Celtics crushed the Golden State Warriors 125-85 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Kerr displayed an uncanny level of future-telling skills, albeit not purposely. Kerr inadvertently predicted the Warriors' loss to the Celtics .

The Kings trapped the ball out of Steph Curry’s hands all night — often at halfcourt — and he responded by dishing a season-high 12 assists. Andrew Wiggins poured in 25 and Gui Santos (16 points) provided a major lift off the bench. But DeMar DeRozan (32 points, 24 in the second half) was too much for the short-handed Warriors to overcome.

With a 21-21 record, the Golden State Warriors are expected to be active ahead of the Feb. 6 trade deadline. While a move isn't guaranteed, Warriors fans should expect Mike Dunleavy Jr. to be proactive in researching potential upgrades and the cost of bringing them to the franchise.

The Warriors currently rank 10th in the Western Conference after a string of inconsistent performances. Podziemski's return will give Kerr additional rotation options as he continues to find his best starting lineup.
