A radar-confirmed tornado ripped through Lake Mary in Seminole County Monday morning. The tornado, which was believed to be an EF0 or EF1, according to FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Noah Bergren has left hundreds without power.
Tornado warning: A sighting or weather radar indicated a tornado. Try to move to an interior room on the lowest level in a sturdy building and stay away from windows. If in a mobile home, a vehicle, or outdoors, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
The National Weather Service confirmed that the tornado, which packed winds of up to 115 mph, touched down around 9:40 a.m.
