Berkeley Propane said they have about 670 orders for tank refills as of Wednesday, and have been getting 25 new requests every day, adding to existing orders.

She told CBS 13 that they ordered a propane tank more than 10 days ago now from Ferrel Gas. She said her delivery is scheduled for this Friday, but she is not sure they can wait that long.

Those waiting have a few options. If they own their own tank, like those large 120-gallon or 500-gallon tank cylinders sitting outside a home, they can simply get another company to come fill it.
