Johnson was the team’s first Hall of Famer, excluding Ed Reed. Like Johnson, Hopkins was at one point in the conversation as the league’s top wideout. Due to longevity, Johnson is ahead of Hopkins in every meaningful stat in Texans history, but Hopkins’ numbers stack up comfortably all the same.

The Houston Texans continue to add to their defense, reportedly agreeing to terms with veteran cornerback Arthur Maulet on a one-year deal, according to NFL Network’s Cameron Wo

Maulet told NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe on Monday that he has agreed to terms on a one-year Houston pact. He will look to rebound on his latest team after only playing three games last season. In 2023, Maulet played a key role in the Ravens’ secondary, handling slot corner duties and having success as a blitzer.

NFL.com's Chad Reuter put together a hypothetical seven-round draft where teams would build their team from scratch and the order would be the order of the 2025 NFL draft, but then reversed order every round. So the Texans might select at No. 25 for Round 1, but they'd be at Pick No. 40 in Round 2.
