China placed eight Taiwanese suppliers of military equipment on an export control list, a move that’s likely to have a limited impact on the armed forces of the self-run democracy.China’s Ministry of Commerce said Wednesday it was banning shipments of dual-use products to entities in Taiwan including Aerospace Industrial Development Corp.

Chinese firms are banned from exporting to the seven companies materials that can be used in both civilian and military applications, including ongoing transactions, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said.
