We are looking forward to a nice return to above-freezing temperatures as we go into the weekend. We'll get a better warm-up Friday and Saturday before temperatures drop again Sunday.

North Texas woke up to another cold morning on Wednesday with air temperatures in the mid to low 20s. Gusty winds from the south put the wind chill in the single digits to the teens. Another day of full sunshine is on tap for North Texas with dry air in place,

The country is braced for strong winds, rain and snow as Storm Eowyn is set to batter the UK with gusts of up to 90mph on the way.

The Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning for London and surrounding areas until 5pm today (January 23). Strong winds, accompanied by a band of rain, are expected to sweep across the capital, with gusts potentially reaching 50-60 mph in some areas.
