Norwegian Cruise Line will follow up its Prima-Plus class with its largest ship class to date. Fincantieri announced in a press release that its Letter of Intent with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, first disclosed on April 8, 2024, has been finalized into a firm order for four new cruise ships for the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) brand.

The shipbuilder didn’t provide a value for the order, placed by Norwegian Cruise Line, but a person familiar with the deal said the contract is valued around $9.3 billion.
