In his Dallas debut, Anthony Davis scored 26 points with 16 rebounds before leaving in the third quarter with an abdominal injury to guide the host Mavericks to a 116-105 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday.

Injuries are something that plagued Davis' career with the Los Angeles Lakers, so fans had a pointed reaction when he went down with an injury on Saturday in his first game with the new team. For the most part, the general reaction from Lakers fans was "have fun with this."

The Lakers weren't convinced that Anthony Davis could consistently be their top option on offense, which is why they traded him to the Mavericks.
