In a season where Donovan Mitchell has thrived by balancing scoring with playmaking, helping his teammates grow around him, the Cavs asked him to channel his “Spida” moniker and shoulder the offensive load to keep them close against the Celtics on Tuesday.

After enduring a three-game losing streak in the prior week, the Cavs went 4-0 from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2. Mitchell averaged 27.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block per game, earning him his first Eastern Conference Player of the Week honor of the season.
