After recovering from a shoulder injury that limited him during spring practice, Florida quarterback DJ Lagway is now dealing with a lower body injury that required him to wear a walking boot ahead of the Gators' fall camp,

Florida quarterback DJ Lagway will open fall camp in the same spot he spent spring practice — watching from the sidelines.

For all of his exploits, Lagway — the No. 1 QB recruit in the Class of 2024 — has struggled to stay on the field. He injured his right foot at the Under Armour All-American Game in January 2024 and missed parts of last fall's training camp with shoulder soreness.
